Lead Record: Convert to Customer button
1. From the main menu, click Lead Management – then you can either search for the lead in Lead Search or locate them in one of the lead management buckets.
2. Locate the lead you are converting and click the pencil to open the lead file.
There are two easy ways to tell this is a lead and not a customer (there are other difference between the customer screen and lead screen, these are just the two easiest to see).
A. The background on this screen is PINK
B. The ID will say Lead if the person has never had service with the office prior. However, a customer may be converted back to a lead if the person has had a one-time service and the office is pursuing to convert to a recurring clean.
3. On the right-hand side of the top toolbar there is a button that says CONVERT TO CUSTOMER – click that button
4. Once the Convert to Customer button is clicked, a blue box will appear in the lower right-hand corner. Select the appropriate clean type.
5. A new screen will pop up – it is now a customer screen with a GREY background. If the lead did not have a Customer ID, it will now be generated.
