Please follow the steps to obtain an app password from O365 and plug it into CLEO. This is to ensure emails continue flowing out of CLEO after the Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enabled.

Setting Up App Password for CLEO:
- Go to Office.com.
- Log in.
(Use your email and not alias to log in. Example DBA.owner@mollymaid.com or DBA@mollymaid.com) - Click the initials in the top right.
4. Click view account.
5. Select Security info on the left.
6. Click + Add sign-in method.
7. Click on Choose a method and select App password in the drop-down.
8. Click Add.
9. Type in the name Cleo Password and click next.
10. Copy the app password and click Done.
11. Go to CLEO.
12. Click settings on the left.
13. Select user-defined values.
14. Select Communication.
15. On the right, under Brand SMTP Server Settings, take out your current password and put in the app password you copied from step 10.
16. Click save.
We ask that you send out a test email and then go to reports and run the communication history report to make sure the email went out.
You can verify that the email went out if there is a date and time in the Date Sent column. There will be an error if it does not go out in the Error Message column.
