Focus on this release is the update of the Customer Export and Customer Export Brief:

Molly Maid is working on standardizing reports so that there is consistency across reports.  As part of this change, we are focusing on trying to identify an accurate Customer Count and standard definitions for reports.

  1. Customer Export Brief Update Available Search Option Fields and Labels – Part 1.
    1. Remove the following search options since they are no longer relevant based on new definitions.
      • Active (checkbox)
      • Inactive (checkbox)
      • One-Time (checkbox)
      • Recurring (W/A/T/M) (checkbox)
      • Lead (checkbox)
    2. Add the following checkbox search options in place of the previous options.
      • Checkbox Label 1: Active Recurring Customers
      • Checkbox Label 2: Inactive Recurring Customers
      • Checkbox Label 3: Pending Recurring Customers
      • Checkbox Label 4: Occasional Customers
    3. Add Tooltip Language by each:
      • Active Recurring: Customers with regular service scheduled and already had their first cleaning.
      • Inactive Recurring: Regular customers who permanently cancelled and don’t have future cleanings on schedule.
      • Pending Recurring: Regular customers on the schedule but have not had their first cleaning.
      • Occasional Customers: Customers cleaned at some point but never had regular service.
  2. Customer Export Update Available Search Option Fields and Labels – Part 2.
    1. Remove the following search options since they are no longer relevant based on new definitions.
      • Active (checkbox)
      • Inactive (checkbox)
      • One-Time (checkbox)
      • Recurring (W/A/T/M) (checkbox)
      • Lead (checkbox)
    2. Add the following checkbox search options in place of the previous options.
      • Checkbox Label 1: Active Recurring Customers
      • Checkbox Label 2: Inactive Recurring Customers
      • Checkbox Label 3: Pending Recurring Customers
      • Checkbox Label 4: Occasional Customers
    3. Add Tooltip Language by each:
      • Active Recurring: Customers with regular service scheduled and already had their first cleaning.
      • Inactive Recurring: Regular customers who permanently cancelled and don’t have future cleanings on schedule.
      • Pending Recurring: Regular customers on the schedule but have not had their first cleaning.
      • Occasional Customers: Customers cleaned at some point but never had regular service.
  3. Report: Customer Export Brief & Customer Export - Add logic behind New Checkbox Search Options - Part 3
    1. Change reports (Customer Export Brief & Customer Export) to return one row per Active Customer Address if the conditions for each checkbox that is selected are met.
      • e.g. Single Customer has two active address.  Each of the Customers Active Addresses has 2 cleaning occurrences (frequencies) Report would return ONLY one row per Active Customer Address regardless of the number of cleaning occurrences/frequencies associated with that active address.
      • Inactive Customer Addresses will not be returned on the report at all.
      • Results returned on the report would have to match which search options were selected at the time the report was run.
    2. Active Recurring Customers:  When this is checked, it will return report results based on the above definitions.
      • Active Customer Address that had a clean as part of a recurring cadence and has a future scheduled clean that is not the first recurring clean.
    3. Inactive Recurring Customers: When this is checked, it will return report results based on the above definitions.
      • Active Customer Address that had a clean as part of a recurring cadence and does not have a future scheduled clean.
    4. Pending Recurring Customers: When this is checked, it will return report results based on the above definitions.
      • Active Customer Address that has a future clean scheduled as part of a regular cadence BUT doesn't have previous cleans performed OR
      • Active Customer Address that has a future clean scheduled as part of a regular cadence AND has previous cleans performed that ended sometime in the past.
    5. Occasional Customers:  When this is checked, it will return report results based on the above definitions.
      •  Active Customer Address that does NOT have an active recurring cadence ever scheduled AND
      •  Active Customer Address HAS/HAD an Occasional clean scheduled in the Past, Present or Future
    6. If Multiple Checkboxes Search Options are selected and the 'View' button is selected, then the report will return results matching criteria for all checkboxes selected.
      • If 'Active Recurring Customers' and 'Inactive Recurring Customers' is selected, then the report should return both Active & Inactive Recurring Customers based on the definitions.
    7. Filter by Site: Should appropriately filter the report results based on the new checkbox options that are selected and the Site that is selected.
    8. First Route - Last Route: Should appropriately filter the report results based on the new checkbox options that are selected and the range of Routes that are selected.
    9. Customer Name:  Should ignore all other report search criteria (Site, Route, checkboxes) and should return a one row per active customer address (As if all checkboxes on the report were selected)
  4. Report: Customer Export Brief & Customer Export - Add 'Next Clean Date' (column) to reports and exports - Part 4
    1. On Customer Export Brief (report): add a 'Next Clean Date' column.
      • Next Clean Date (column) will appear in the grid results after clicking the view button and will appear AFTER 'Last Service Date' (column)
      • Next Clean Date (column) will be included in the 'Export' option when exporting an excel copy of the report and should appear AFTER 'Last Service Date' (column)
    2. On Customer Export (report): When clicking the 'Email' option, the Email spreadsheet will contain the new 'Next Clean Date' column.
      • Next Clean Date (column) will appear on the emailed excel file AFTER 'Last Service Date' (column)
    3. On Customer Export Brief & Customer Export (reports):   Next Clean Date column will calculate as follows:
    4. Next Clean Date = next earliest clean date scheduled for the clean occurrence that has a clean date of today or greater.
  5. Report: Customer Export Brief - Add new Total Unique Customers & Total Service Addresses fields in Search Results section of Report - Part 5
    1. In top-right section of the Customer Export Brief add two new Info Only fields:
      • Label 1:  Total Unique Customers:
      • Label 2:  Total Service Addresses:
    2. Next to each Label will include a read-only count displayed based on the following logic.
      • Total Unique Customers:  Display unique count of Customer Numbers in the report based on selected Search Criteria
      • Total Service Addresses: Display total count of ALL rows in the report based on selected Search Criteria when the report was run.
    3. Next to each Total listed below, we are adding an information icon that will display a tooltip when a user hovers over the (i) with their mouse to display an explanation of each total field.
      • Total Unique Customers: Total number of customers from selected checkboxes. Customers may have more than one service address per account but only count as one customer.
      • Total Service Addresses: Total number of service addresses from selected checkboxes. Customers may have multiple service addresses.
    4. Selecting any new Search Criteria and clicking the 'View' button will update both the 'Total Unique Customers' & Total Service Address counts.
      • Filter by Site, Route, Customer Name, and any combination of the checkboxes will and clicking the 'View' button will result in updated numbers displayed for the two new Total Labels
  6. Report: Customer Export - Add new Count Tab for Total Unique Customers & Total Service Addresses to Emailed Export - Part 6
    1. On Customer Export (Report):  When clicking the Email (button), Add a 'Count' tab to the Emailed Customer Export Spreadsheet. Count tab would include the following items:
      • Franchise Name: Molly Maid of DBA
      • Which checkbox options were selected at the time the report was run.
      • The two new TOTAL rows
        1. 1st Row Label:  Total Unique Customers: Label will appear in bold text.
        2. 2nd Row label:  Total Service Addresses: Label will appear in bold text.
      • Tooltip wording for each of the TOTAL rows
    2. Each new Total Row will need to display a count to the right of the label.
    3. On row 10, add a Legend with the tooltip wording provided for each Total count.
      • Total Unique Customers: Total number of customers from selected checkboxes. Customers may have more than one service address per account but only count as one customer.
      • Total Service Addresses: Total number of service addresses from selected checkboxes. Customers may have multiple service addresses.

Bug Fixes:

  1. Two-Way Texting: Not being able to flag a text as Unread.
    • Fixed the issue that was preventing the unread text flag from appearing
  2. Two-Way Texting: Unread texts count doesn't always reflect the correct number between what's in the Two-Way
    • Improved the logic in the two-way texting widget related to unread count.
      • If the alert's status is "New" and the last message for the Customer, was one received from the customer, rather than sent to them, the Customer should count as "Unread"
    • If multiple messages have come in without a user looking at them, a count should appear next to the Customer's name in the right name in square braces ([]).
    • If a user clicks "Mark as Unread", then later a message comes in, the Customer unread message count should be 2.
    • The Unread Messages bubble at the top should be the total of the unread messages across all Customers with a Customer who is only showing bold because a user clicked "Mark as Unread" counting as 1.
  3. Employee: Sorting Employee Names Alphabetically
    • Fixed the issue that was causing the employee’s full name on the employee screen to not sort alphabetically.
